1. Although most browsers will work, some features will not be supported in all browsers. For optimum Web2 use, Netscape 5 or Internet Explorer 5 or above are recommended. To download the latest version of these two products, select the related icon.
2. Some browser settings may cause the images to have white lines in them. If you see these with your browser, you have chosen a font size that is too large. To change this in Netscape, go to Edit, Preferences, and select Fonts. Change the font size to a smaller size. To change this in Internet Explorer, go to View, Text Size and change the size to Medium. Another possible solution is just for Netscape 4.7 users. Go to Edit, Preferences, and select Color. Make sure that the box labeled "Always Use My Colors, Overriding Document" has not been checked.
3. Older computers may not see the true colors designed in the highly graphical screens. If the colors do not seem correct, make sure the Display is set to True Color - 24 bit provided your computer supports this setting.
4. To make your web browser or the web browsers in your library start at the Web2 page for your building:
In Netscape 5+, first click on the link to your desired building. The default home page location can be found by selecting the Preferences option from the Edit menu. Select the category Navigator, you will see a box on the right that says Home Page. Click on the Use Current Page button then click on the OK button.
In Internet Explorer 5+, first click on the link to your desired building. The default home page location can be found by selecting the Internet Options option from the View menu. The tab named General should be selected. Click on the Use Current Page button then click on the OK button.
For all other browsers and versions, please follow these general steps.Additional tips may be posted here in the future.
